It's never to late to learn something new. I approach learning something new like I approach research. I want to understand the nuances and the process. I don't want to jump right to the outcome without understanding how I got there. Last year I decided that I wanted to learn how to paint. I've never been good at it. I've never understood it. Because of those two things, I've always avoided it. It might sound silly, but I wanted to learn to paint because I figured that in-the-end, I might end up with some artwork for my home. It's been so much more. While I do enjoy the final product, I much more enjoy the process and watching my paintings evolve week-to-week and painting-to-painting.
